Supply List - Book Arts

Decorative Paper

There is a limited selection of fine papers on the island.  There will be some papers to work with at the Center, enough to compete the initial projects.  Bringing a few sheets of thin decorative paper will give you more creative control over your projects.

Additional Supplies

Bone Folder - this is not a necessary tool for bookmaking, you can use your hands or a pencil to fold, but a bone folder generally does a better job.
Mat Knife - You may want to purchase your own mat knife once here although there will be several available for use.

The following can all be found on the island and a sufficient amount will be provided for the demonstration projects: card board and blank white paper.

Thread, glue, needles, and brushes will be provided by the Center.
